Pete, good buying, hope you love it well. I assume your good lady wife will be the daily driver, seeing as she gave the ok to purchase said TF. What motor has it got 1250cc or 1500cc. Hope you are a good woodworker too. We used to have a Bugeye A/H Sprite & only sold it when the wife could'nt get behind the wheel when she got pregnant. This was 35 odd years ago & I still get we should'nt have sold that Sprite, I could have still been driving it. Well WHO got Pregnant, it was not me. Ah well I just saw a couple of Sprites in the background which reminded me of the story. I have'nt shown the good lady them though. Best of luck with the project Pete. Cya Tim. ;) :D ;D

Well somehow I dont think Ill be driving arround your neck of the woods they may just have to come over here
But I did get a catoloug in the post today which has just about every part you could want in it so your paving arround your house should be safe now

Rod
So I guess what you are saying is what my wife actually said was
I need a new oven
when are you going to fix the carpet, light fitting, door handle, loungeroom floor, retile the laundry, finnish the pool area, fix the fences, and the list is getting bigger and bigger
must be why I was laying bricks all day instead of fishing or playing cars

Melon
Dont panic no farmalls will be hurt or taken in my trip
A hint
may be just a load of bull
time will tell

G-Day Tim
Its got the 1250 motor got to say I have never had half of a v8 before quite a zippy little engine mind you there isnt much weight in the car
theres a mob here in Bendigo that specialises in making these go extra quick so the may just get the job of the engine rebuild
Im trying to find a roll of mig wire that will weld timber then i can just weld it all together but arnt having much luck can only find liquid nails that stuff seems to take too long to dry
but I have been known to shape the odd bit of timber in my time so Im looking foward to the challenge
Seems most people have the same reason for selling there pride and joys
KIDS
just hope I dont get the car all finnished and my wife tells me shes pregnant

Till next time Chums

Hello Blacksmith Pete,
This could not be called a genuine restoration however as the only steel visible after trimming the interior will be from beneath the car here is what I am doing.
Regards David.

Boxed 1 mm Zincanneal shaped to curve of outer skin.

Had been in a shed, it blew away then years outside.

1.6 mm Galtube.

You need a British aeroplane now, Pete. Well done, cracking machine.

Give us a yell when you're up here stealing things off Pat.
