Life is to short to drink cheap wine. On the other hand I plan to live forever - So far so goo
I was given this old girl but it cost me $1500 to get it home. Given that the right hand rear tyre is brand new I reckon I got a bit of as bargain. The engine starts easily and runs sweetly with good oil pressure, no smoke. Everything works, but the hydraulics for the bucket look a bit ordinary.
All I need to restore is a new set of mudguards and hood and badges plus rearrange the hyraulic lines and I have an almost new tractor.
Any suggestions on where to get the mudguards and hood?

Hey Bob. Looks like you got a good one there. As for tractors, your panel work is fantastic. I'd say just a little panel beating.

The pictures show the panels in better shape than they are, not much that hasn't been belted somehow. I don't think it has seen a shed in its life until today.
Having trouble identifying the year. Does the serial number FGH 72079 mean anything to anyone?

Do 178 serial numbers fit in with that list or do they have their own?

No list exists for the 178...........
