History of truck scroll and pinstriping in Australia

Hi all,

Just after any information anyone would have on the history of scrollwork and pinstriping on big rigs in Australia.
Anything around pioneers of the art, international influencers ( from the US etc.), any first companies that painted in Australia?

Very interested in the transfer of the technique from buggys/wagons to trucks and big rigs

I would think it goes back to the horse and cart days in the UK at the markets but I have no idea maybe even the barges on their canals

And back further - the Egyptians even pin-striped their horses (and themselves).
