Hi Steve, are you thinking of using it in a truck?
Being a marine engine it may not have the right governor.
Looks pretty good all the same.
I've got a couple of spares apart from what I've got in trucks too.

This one came out of a 6 X 6 White I had.

This one was in my Reo and is a good runner.

Hi Cam, Nice collection you have there. The motor has the correct govenor, we put the heat exchanger on in place of the radiator so it can heat up quicker without having to run for too long. Ron sayes it has big injectors (N65) and turbo cylinder kits and if fitted with a turbo would be good for pretty high horsepower. The motor has done no work as it was ex army for tune up training.

Hayseed, yep, the turbo will fit, but there would have to be some plumbing to get the air in and out obviously.

Steve, N65's are big for a 53, most of mine have N50's, and some have had N 45's. The 6V53T has N50's too I think, and the motors in the Dodge and Reo have N50's as well.
