Injector removal

The little Yanmar engines have the same dick. Don't do what I did and try and unscrew the injector. It stuffs everything.

If it doesn't want to come out with the slide hammer, warm up the engine (if you can) then squirt penetrating oil round it. Tap sensibly and gently with a hammer and brass drift across the injector from one side then the other and do the wiggle already suggested, and alternate between the two methods over and over again giving it more and more penetrant. Keep trying with the slide hammer every so often. It will come out.
