Thanks for the comments. I am still waiting for the brakes to come back, they are on the way home. I went and saw an electro plater today, he said if I cleaned up the parts it would be about half price.

Is that you cleaning them up super spotless, or is that already bright zinc?

Hi Jarrod,
I was showing before and after cleaning. When I clean them all I will take a photo of all the bits that I am going to get done, and the cost for the lot to get done. Today I picked up the brakes, and my speedo came. The electro plater said the parts that are riveted on - even those the parts have a gap between them the coating might not get in (he calls it shading).

I say, you've done a great job on the cleaning, they look good now. They should look like new, plated.
