Can anyone please tell me where I can get some pre dried paint for my AT4. I don't have much time and I would rather just lay it on so I don't have to wait for it to dry.
I can get some for a D5N but I'm going to have trouble fitting it around the grille[ch128542]

I have tried it but wouldn't recommend it as getting the protective paper off the back of it was a real b#tch and the paint kept tearing. Don't do it outside on a windy day either as it blows all over the place and I ended up getting some of it on the missuses car and she was not happy. You can only buy it in 20 mtr rolls also, so make sure you measure up exactly how much you need otherwise it becomes very expensive. I have 40 mtrs of bright chrome left in the back shed somewhere if you can use any of it for the bumper I use it on the wife's car quite often.
Hope this helps.
Cheers Mac.

The big question is do you want it with or without rust ?

Thanks Colin, colour is not that important at the moment and I was just seeing what's out there. I was thinking of a nice nipple pink but I heard that colour is for suckers!
I would prefer the pre shaped stuff if it is still available rather than just off the roll.
Rust type is another issue as I probably need to put the rust back in the plenum as per origional.
Would this paint stick to the screen rubbers or do I need a specific rubber paint for this?
Also has anyone used the pre sanded primer and undercoat which would save me some time too?
Regards Billy

Oh another thing, I want to keep it origional that's why I don't want to vinyl wrap it. I'd rather use paint.
Another thing is that I've heard that some people are selling the fake vinyl and passing it off as the real thing!

Thanks seed, it's getting there. If only I wasn't getting sent all around the place with my enquiries by spare parts places!
I was after a cylinder of carby vacuum the other day as the bloody thing wouldn't start. Surely one spare parts place would have it!!!
Same story, I get sent all over Melbourne looking, you would have thought BOC would stock it??? No, they're all out at the moment too!

Billy if colour is not a issue I should be able to get some iron on green if you can quote the part number . The vacuum question there might be a few suckers about to fill a cylinder for you at a cheap rate
