Sorry I took so long to find the book at mum's place.
According to Peter Lynch, the AB models ran from 1962 to 1966. It does not have any details of these as the book is on the ACCO models, but he says the engines were AGD 240, 264, 282, V345, Perkins 6-354, Cummins 160. I guess you should have a 240 or 264. However I had an AB182 and later an AB110. Both had the 282 donks. Maybe the 110 was a refit.

That info in my ACCO book was collated form various spec sheets , IH press releases, T+B magazines etc but don't take it as gospel. I think the 282 in the AB110 would be a refit, which gearbox did it have ?
