C1840 Restoration pics- NEARLY finished

Just the roof lining which is going in this week and the floor mat. Had her in to get a check for a roadworthy this week and a couple of minor things to do. They found a bit of play in the center bearing and the steering drag link. So all things going well we may get to Clunes Show. On the way into Ballarat yesterday in the C1840 (to get our mechanics opinion of the faults to fix for the roadworthy) we passed a procession of great looking oldies goin in the other direction who all waived to us...probably thinkin "they're goin the wrong way"

Great resto bet your proud if it. Its got everything you need and thats it. A true example of a showroom condition classic working truck.
Will there be a name on the door or is it just a big red beast.

Yep....forgot to mention the scrolling and we will have our name on the door...gotta save some more pennies tho...was lookin back through invoices as far back as Aug 2008 fo a particular purchase...it was an eye opener to see how many were for the C1840...to scared to add them up...and yes we are proud of our efforts and hope she does us proud for a long time to come as she will be a working truck with some shows thrown in for good measure.

Very Nice! Very Impressed! You couldnt be anything but proud of that job the only thing to say it hasnt just rolled off the liine is the shift sticker.

Looks great mate, you must be feeling satisfied looking at it from the best part of a restoration, towards the end.
