First Restoration - '42 Chev Blitz was created by blitz9383
Here are some photos of the finish product of my '42 blitz. Spent 2 years on and off completing it. It was oringinally a fire tanker, but i modified it by modifying the chassis and making a genuine blitz shassis winch. Built a small steel body. Freshly sandblasted and painted. Let me know what you think.
My next project will be my 7564 autocar and gooseneck britstand float.
This is my everyday drive - T950 Signature 620 22 Series 18speed K200 Rockwell 46's - Photos soon

Nice job, shame it isn't a ford, the sidey sounds far better than the chev 6.

They should have a badge on the grill saying FORD or CHEVROLET, making it very easy to identify.
The Fords originally had FORD - CANADA embossed in the headlight surround panels as well.

The shape of the vents in the front quarters identify them as well, I just can't remember which is which, one has the rectangle, and the other has a taper towards the top.
