nothing to exciting going on at the moment just boring small stuff, bit of sanding, some metal fab work on the chassis. the springs are back and are looking much healther ccomplete with new pins and the wrong bushes >
. the new tank brackets have been finished they where made 50mm shorter to go with the 50mm cab lift i will be doing. it looks like final chassis paint will be later next week. All rims have been sourced and will be here next week aswell here is a few pics not real exciting.

My Dodge cab has been lifted about the same to get the air filter under the bonnet. The D5N's the just hacked the bonnet out over the air filter and then put a scoop over it to hide it.
Mate, that new second rear cross-member, I wouldn't fully weld that in, maybe a stitch each side on to the web, but if you fully weld that into the flanges there is a good chance it will crack, it looks pretty ridgid.

It'll be right, if it does crack it'll probobly only crack down one flange, I'd be amazed if it fell off. Looks neat, well done.

I guess It's going ot go on Club rego, 'cause if It's going on Full rego.
Than that rear number plate gadget is a bit borderline Legal
.As numberplate should be visible from a 45degree angle from above & both sides..

Not trying to be nit pickin' A'hole.
Just I've had several defects for this over the years.
Most recently in My ute.
With one of those driving light nudgebar brackets that mount on the Number Plate mounting holes!!

Yes club rego I do all the heavy vehicle inspections in the area and that rule did cross but I thought it looked tidy and I doubt I will get pulled up for it.
