Be it firearms or V8 engines, the question is not "why should you have them?"

I don't know about too much power but the first diesel engined vehicle I ever drove was a friends 40 foot long GMC PD41 coach with a GM 8v92. (or PD42 with 8v91? old-timers disease is getting to me) It only had a four speed box and I had it up on the governor before I knew about it! I was impressed!

I know a GM sounds awesome, especially with jakes, but could you fit one undet the floor as a mid mount..? because I'd go deaf with it up the front
