Hi,
I have this old truck chassis that has been made into a hay wagon. I was told someone in your Club may know what type of truck it used to be. My dad said it was before 1930's and thats about all he could tell me.

I wish to sell it and it is hard to advertise when I'm unsure what it used to be.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Thanks

Hello John,

There should be a name or logo on the one remaining hubcap. This should identify it, or help us do so. By the thickness of the wheelspokes it would appear to be of more than two ton carrying capacity. It looks to be from the nineteen twenties. It appears not to have front brakes so is probably earlier than about 1927 or 1928 depending on the make,The chassis looks American to me.

Morris.

I have my shoulder to the wheel,
my nose to the grindstone,
I've put my best foot forward,
I've put my back into it,
I'm gritting my teeth,

Now I find I can't do any work in this position!
