I wonder if we can get MrsMacksPaul into this one, it's on the same side of the country, only a cut luck away.

Ha ha, you jokers are right, I had seen that before
Been in Tassie is a issue for me, I looked into bringing a truck across from Tassie only 12 months or so ago but the costs get way out of hand
By the time I take Mrs Mack over and bring the load back it was ridiculous, more than the cost of a quite rare truck
If it cant be driven on a permit it gets out of hand very quickly

Sounds like the perfect excuse for a bloke who lives on an island to go buy his own barge......

   I get far to sea sick for this boating thing, I'm hoping someone comes up with the right priced way to get stuff from here to Tassie and back to here

Pauly, I reckon it's a case of finding someone who has an account with the shippers, eg Toll or Searoad etc? From my (extremely limited) experience, the casual rate is so dear as to make it a joke- whereas It can often be not too bad, if you know the right person to talk to? How you find that person is the next question......

Maybe a back load for a freight company might be an option.

Problem with that is if it cant be loaded easily it becomes a costly exercise very quickly

Or maybe I'm just a tight ass ?

Dunno I'm gunna think about this for a bit, maybe even make some more enquiries
