Looks nice from a distance, if you squint your eyes. With a 671 GM progress would be pretty steady. It claims to be a Mandator but that model was a 4x2, more like a Mammoth Major 8.

I have my shoulder to the wheel,
my nose to the grindstone,
I've put my best foot forward,
I've put my back into it,
I'm gritting my teeth,
Now I find I can't do any work in this position!

I would have loved to have it as a toy but I have no use for it and could not afford to drive it very far. Is that a Victorian number plate on the front? I think I saw it in Vic. some years ago.
It sold for $6400.

Must confess to not knowing too much about AEC's. Was a single drive, same cabib shape for sale up in the Mallee/ Wimmera are not all that long ago. Was parked on the bank of a dam, visible from the road. Talking to a bloke over at Clunes show, cupla years ago, told me bloke took 2 grand for it, reckoned the gearbox alone was worth that, said he thought it was a 12 speed air splitter box?? Dont know enough about them. Dave_64
