Not sure if anyone has noticed, but there is a sale coming up on Grays online of a fine looking collection of trucks from a deceased estate.

The GM powered AB180 with the 4x4 sounds like a neat truck!

I know Glenn Newlyn had some trucks stored at Mansfield. The white with the Timber Jinker looks like his. The AB180 looks like one JBlair and I saw at Echuca in 2008 which was for sale then so that could be his.
He also had a transtar and a couple of C-Series Inters. The rest could be his as he collected quickly with a passion. Every time I saw him there was at least one new item in the collection and I couldn't keep track of it all
Perhaps his estate is selling up the collection?

Im heading up there on the day after boxing day, I'll have a look if anyone is interested.
A couple or more of beautiful old trucks there.
Might even be around on the sale day

you only need to be around an internet on sale day(s). From the way I read the ad the auction will be an on-line one.

Yes it is sad Basil...
I think there is a lesson there for all of us though..
To enjoy what you have while you are able to..
Life deals out a few raw deals sometimes..
Some make grand plans for future years and sadly they don't eventuate for many reasons..i'll health often takes over and dimisses the best thought out plans..
Enjoy each day as it comes and be thankful for what we have been able to acheive this far in our lives..
Keep it safe , takes it easy and be happy in who you are...not what you have the bank or the shed..
You will go out with almost what you came in with....nothing but the knowledge of this lifetime...!
regards
