Commer CE8 Mirror Bracket.

I'm looking for an original Commer Mirror Bracket as per Pic.


If I can't find one I'll then make one but need some advise on how to squash ends to look the same as original as squashing the ends in the vice will leave a straight line across the tube where the original one has a curve. I may have to make a a pair of Die's to suit the curve.

Do a practise run useing a HD bench vice

I have made them for another truck (1965 Austin 5 tonner) and used a heavy steel washer(roughly the size needed to match the radius of the curve) either side of the tube in the vice jaws, worked well with no jaw marks and the right curve!
