Re AEC, they certainly did get to Australia and some people reckon they were better than Leyland, who took them over. In fact just about any brand of truck that has been cobbled together has been sold here at some stage.

good old south african cars ..they also had similer chryslers to us ..except they used the slant 6 untill the mid 80s ..would be a interesteing trip to grab a "classic" over there
