Hunter's paint scheme was simple yet effective, they looked good running 31. Smart looking fleet. Did they have a store in Wang?? LHS heading north into town?

Hi Crashbox, yes the Hunters colour scheme was very effective and distinctive. And you are right, Hunters had and still have a hardware & produce store in Wangaratta. They still have shops in Shepparton, Tatura, Echuca, Euroa, Corowa, Yarrawonga and Katandra. But they once had stores in other towns, such as Kyabram and Moama. The Moama store came about due to the freedom of the road laws and regulations during the late 50s (maybe 60s?) but that's a whole other story!
Hey Crackers, I think you are correct as this SAR did originally have the air horns under the bonnet and also has the tachograph on the dash. I've thought that she was an ex Finemores myself.
Cheers Ray.

Gidday Jake,
Yep what Melon said. Saw it loading at Aratula on Friday at the produce stores just north of town. Still looks the part. Now running a chrome bumper instead of the bullbar.
