Can I just say that I feel a bit reticent posting on just about anything..bearing in mind I've been on this forum since 2010 AND not feeling the need to post on EVERYTHING?
There are a few blokes that have joined after me,and now have 5 or 6 times the amount of posts..
All of a sudden the feeling may come over...sh*t this bloke has all that extra " posting on the forum " experience than me...
Better not post anything stupid sounding...............
Then I think " they're just blokes like me and bugger the total post count bit ".
I believe if you have some thing relevant or interesting to say,say it and be damned!
My advice for anybody posting is - don't expect any response to a posting.
If anyone finds it interesting, they will respond.
If not,It's not the end of the world..
At the end of the day it's a forum and everyone has a say, regardless of whether anyone else likes the viewpoint or not.. :)

..Hi Cam .. in response to your post and Trev's just earlier, i would like the mods/admins (if they can) to remove me as capital "D" Detective with however many posts...finished, done and dusted and replace me with a small "d" detective and start off from square one again...equal to, and respectful of, a lot of good blokes and recent newcomers to the forum...

...it's not a silly stunt...and i'll still post away merrily :) :)

Detective, You can change/edit your username yourself.
Click on the UserCp up the Top of the page,
go to profile,
click on edit profile & edit away........

As for your post count,I don't think anything can be done about that but I'm no IT expert,
So Bruce might have to chime in on That.

Either that or delete your account, & start a new account.

While we are on the subject of what shows on the forum, can anybody explain to me why some of the posters have "HCVC Member"" on their name part of the post, and some do not.?

Don

That means that they are a HCVC club member.

But not sure when the records where last updated as I do know some members do not show up on the forum and also some who are no longer members do show up.

It also give you access to the members only section of the forum

Well I was a paid up HCVC member for two years but I was never able to access the Members only area so now they are probably wondering why I didn't renew. :-X
