Gentlemen
Dust in Swishy's yard, never going to happen OIL is the magic answer to dust suppression. Swishy has the answer with his Detroits constantly topping up the surface.
Swishy mate question
How long is the bed in the trailer load area from front of rear axle group to base of neck?
Section size of the two beams supporting the deck top and bottom flange and web?
Distance from the centre line of the rear axle group to the most forward king pin.
Really interested or just curious.

Swishy mate
Based on the dimensions it appears that if yo have the following ......
distance pin to centre of axle group 12.00 metres
possible axle weight rear group 31.00 tonnes
possible gross weight at pin with dolly 45.00 tonnes
we have a total gross of 76.00 tonnes forgetting the steer
allowing for say 6.00 tonnes tare weight rear axles trailer
and taking 4.00 tonnes trailer 9.50 tonnes dolly and rear of truck total at front = 13.50
total tare weight at front.
lets say then we have a tare weight of 19.50 tonnes and a gross weight of 76.00 tonnes gives a possible payload of 56.50 tonne.
if I calculate the available payload and assuming my tare weights are reasonable the answer is something like this.
load "L" = 56.50
distance from centre of rear axle to load centre of gravity "B" = 6.70 metres
distance from centre of rear axle group to turntable pin "D" 12.00 metres
L X B / D
56.50 X 6.70 / 12.00 = 24.96
unless i am completely wrong this puts the centre of gravity somewhere around 1.80 metres from the start of the goose neck

RE:
possible axle weight rear group 31.00 tonnes ... yup as 2x8 n az a 3x8 Rsend = 42t @ 3.5 wide
possible gross weight at pin with dolly 45.00 tonnes.... yes ... with the 2x8 dolly @ 3.5 wide
also with a close cuple 1x4 dolly = 25t ,,, & a 1x8 long spread dolly 31t
we have a total gross of 76.00 tonnes forgetting the steer
allowing for say 6.00 tonnes tare weight rear axles trailer
and taking 4.00 tonnes trailer 9.50 tonnes dolly and rear of truck total at front = 13.50
total tare weight at front.
lets say then we have a tare weight of 19.50 tonnes and a gross weight of 76.00 tonnes gives a possible payload of 56.50 tonne. ...... yup close enuff I can see why U dun add any for steer az U're 'V'Bus is fully loaded when run n MT on the steers
Your pritty close with your calc but dun 4 get a clip on 1x8 xtra axle on RSend to make it 3x8 @ 3.5 wide

I'll nok out a chart of the guesstimate trailer n dolly doodadd
