Can anyone please direct me to/or provide photos of the rear end (car bar/under-run bar and mud gard set up) for a 1960'70's McGrath wide spread axle trailer?
About 2 years ago (wild guess) someone provide a running photographic progress of a full refurb of such a trailer. However - I dont recall a name, which section it appeared in or much else about it - other than it was a good job and a great photo coverage.
My main interest is in the rear eand - like the mud gards and the carbar/under run bar design. The other reason is to assist a local Townsville guy who is building a large collection of restored gear - and he has just purchased a trailer that I located for him.
When I read more about posting photos on the (now not so new) Forum format. Like do we still have to go thru photobucket (or similar) or do we use the 'attachment box' at the bottom of each section?
If anyone on the Forum is ever visiting Townsville - let me know and I will try to get you access to his collection.
Thanks in advance

Oldfulla,If you wish to put images in a post.
You click on the reply Tab.
The click on Add File find your image in your computer & click on open you'll end up with something like this..
Type up what you wish to say then put the cursor where you want your image to appear & click on Insert then click on Submit & your done..
You can insert up to 5 images per post.
HOWEVER, there is a limit of 3MB per Post. & not per image.
In other words you can put up;
1 3MB images
3 1Mb images or
5 600KB images or any combination that doesn't exceed 3Mb.
provide you abide by the 3MB limit It's very easy & straight forward.

Here are some photos of the McGrath which is about to under go a complete resto. I expect it will finish up looking like this mans other work to-date. While his collection is probably around 30 odd vehicles and machinery - in particular is the 32foot strap Freighter and the MK1 Big A
