Is it legal to put one truck on the back of another and then onto a drop deck? I need to move at least two of my trucks and I'm just researching the easiest/cheapest way to do it. Cheers.

Luckily not going anywhere near NSW(now or ever again) going from WA to SA, If it goes on a drop deck it will be under 4.3 high I was just wondering if there were any other considerations. Thanks Swishy.

This farmer would say not a problem and just go for it

No doubt about it you blokes over think things
And Swishy NSW would have to catch me first I would slip into stealth mode on the way thru

Hello 600 Dodge
Provided you stay within legal dimensions and weight you are OK provided you can show that it meets all of the load restraint requirements.

I think that only applies to tilt trays. To be able to cart vehicles on a tilt try it has to have TT number plates.. BIDSTBC

I used to carry trucks out of Mitsi in Adel up to 03 . Only had to swing mirrors in.
Had em "piggy backed" with 3 , or sometimes 2 long ones , with back on back.
So if you are thinking of dropping one from "main deck" to drop deck . I can't see a problem.
Maybe "ramp it" & make sure ramps are secure. Otherwise , just have em chained properly.
