Seeing as how ya asked and knowing your love of these trucks....

swish I have been lying in, on, under and around a hard working Blacksmith Pete's N10 Volvo.... gear box had a hernia... no problem, got spare, box out.... spare box ready, wrong spline, wrong synchro gears... local mechanic says, wont swap.... buy my old yard truck.. N12 and use that box. BSP drives said yard truck, box works better than old N10 ever did. Sold. Before we broke the N12, meck a nick says, dont swap boxes do the whole engine and box in one go... straight in. So there we are sliding and N12 into an N10... in the middle had to run off and have a baby (daughter did at least).... only to find the N12 is 50mm longer in the block. front engine mounts dont fit. Carefully hang it all of a sky hook and fit the radiator and bonnet, check all the connections, everything will fit except front mounts. BSPete lived up to his title, new mounts fabricated and fitted, and as of lunch time, all but ready to fire her up...... then I can start on the ACCO... 200 bales of hay still to unload, front uni to replace, tie rod ends, spring shackles.... exhaust re-fit.... might have to buy a volvo too.

Truth is I rarely seem to have a day off
I reckon years ago I had more days to do what I wanted when I milked cows

But these days I seem to have longer days and achieve less :dry:

I'm afraid not really old truck related Swishy, but seeing as you asked...............,
I like to spend my free time "hanging out" at country race meetings, gymkhanas, and rodeos, anywhere within about a 1000km radius (drive-able in a weekend), north east to north west of my home on Yorke Peninsula, SA.
Apart from being a lot of fun, these events are also wonderful fundraisers for the RFDS.
Usually average one per month.

Otherwise, it's nice just to shut the doors and be left alone in my workshop to tinker!
