Detroit Flywheel Housing

Looking for a flywheel housing to fit Detroit 6v53 and take a SAE number 3 bellhousing. Distance between 3/8 bolts [12] which bolt bellhousing to flywheel housing is 4.375 inches or 11.1125 mm. I see on internet that in USA there is an adaptor plate to convert SAE number 2 to number 3 bellhousing....are they available in Australia. Any leads appreciated Thanks 0438816569

I cant recall ever seeing a #3 housing for a V53,not to say they dont exist.....Dont know where you d get an adaptor........Paddy O' Driscoll at R Moore and Sons used to sell them,maybe if you tried one of the big truck gearbox services.......or even a wreckers like Prices at Dalby...i imagine getting one made would be expensive............What gearbox are you wanting to use......might be cheaper to get a #2 housing for the box.
