Hayseed,
Thats a ripper, Thanks!
I'll have to print that one and so be able to thoroughly confuse myself!

Reminds mr of the very first time I ever jumped into one of Swishy's beloved 12 speed Spicer Synchromasters in a KW.
Instructions above eye level, missed about 37 changes, restarted at least a dozen and that was only in the yard bobtail!
Took a while to get used to it.
Cheers, Dave

Weird in between slot in old Loadstar.
From 3 OD, upshift to 5 in Box and down to UD in Aux.
Next gear upshift Aux to Direct, downshift Box to 4.
Carry on as per Hayseed’s chart.
Gear for every job!

PaulFH,
Found something a bit similar couple of times myself, Thames Trader with Ford Diesel, 5 speed main, two speed arse, go through lower gears as you would expect, until you got to Lo4, then next change was Lo5, next back to Hi4, then to Hi5.
Trap for the unwary!
Similar deal with older White with petrol motor, 5 speed main, 4 speed joey. but Lo in joey unusable except from start off, otherwise 5X3, talking yonks ago, did have an O/D but cant tecall if it was in the main or the joey, something makes me think the main, BUT...IDSTBC
