Fortunate to have visited this museum recently.
Photo of brochure with opening times etc for others who may want to have a look at the exhibits.
Most important to call first to register and check your planned visit. Army operated so other priorities may mean staff are not available on the day.
Will post some more photos presently.

Paul, Thank you for posting your tour of the museum. It is one to add to my list to see if I ever get to come back Down Under.

Well worth a visit Brocky.
After decades of storing and moving large items funding was made available for a quality museum.
Top class building and high standard of preservation or restoration of vehicles and plant.
Poster and glass case displays with history and smaller items.
Machinery packed in closely so not easy to take full screen photos, but able to get a close view.
Looks like space reserved for more items to come.
Make sure to follow the contact and booking arrangements so as not to miss out.

Looks like a good spot to spend some hours
A bit unusual having to book and provide id
That float is the same as mine, only not rusty like mine
A tough old float but very heavy
Paul

Most defence bases we have been into we had to show id. Only time we did not was where the museum was not inside the base but at the entry gates off to one side and fenced

Licence or other Government issued photo ID is asked for. Museum just inside the gate and AFP manage security and entry to the base.
Car parking just outside the gate.
