Ford LN700 on ebay

i think youve been a bit harsh everything made by perkins is good (i love perkins stuff) i also love that shape of ford and id sooner have V8 perkins than 3208 cat crap. i like everything about this truck apart from the 6 speed, a 10 speed would be better. it is in very good condition no rust i thought it is rather cheap too.

actually my old 540 leyland would match a 3208 on the road and probably be on the road while the 3208 was at the wreckers .. but yes parts for the v8 perkins are a bit tough to find ... although i do ahve a late model 540 turbo in my shed for a rainy day

The reason most 477s "need work" is that most owners try to run them in(and run them on) gas, certain death on these engines.
