I reckon they've allways been a good looking truck, that one looks tidy, and you've done the smart thing and bought one that doesn't need to much work.

Hey guys
Thanks for the posts, yes this old girl is in good nick, mechanically it seems brilliant just needs a few things done to make it a good kick arse truck, I'm not going for anything crazy, just something really presentable.
Amazingly the truck rides smooth just as a prime mover without trailer, the ride from Vic up to the Hunter was really good, I was ready for a bone jarring experience, nearly froze at Gundagia with -3 at 4pm when I set off.
I had a really good mate (thanks 555 Cummins, your a true champion) go tail and sometimes lead when the windscreen froze up as cold as it was the engine fired right up and idled without a problem. I just have to try and look after it now.
Cummins 555 got to go for a run through Sydney in the ole girl, by the look on his face I think he liked it
Fingers crossed it will be on H plates in the coming week, or the one after.
I'm probably to cashed out for Dubbo this year, but will hopefully make an appearance there in 2011.

Yes without 555's help I would have been here
So thanks mate for putting up with me for 2 days, it was certainly a road trip and a half.
I heard similar Mammoth, hopefully it will be on again :-[ not good hey.
We need these shows to promote these good old vehicles, and also get a chance to get out n about .

It's the Hunter Valley clubs turn to host it next year. Dubbo & Hunter Valley shows are bi annual & on opposite years to each other.
