All ok here in Kalorama, and Sarge was ok at 8.00 this am and since Pete's just down the road from Sarge, I assume he's ok 2.

What about Andy and Jodi Wright???

They won't be able to reply so be patient if you have anything to talk to Andy about - all services are out in and around Pakenham and the areas surrounding!

I don't know about forum members in the bush fire areas, but we do have quite a few HCVC members living in those places hit by the fires. We all hope they are safe and well.

We're okay. Had a big fire to the east of us on Saturday but was blowing away. On edge all day and still a bit now even though it's a lot cooler. However, nothing compared to the worries of the residents of Kinglake, Marysville etc.

Trying to work out where we can donate some bales of hay. If anyone knows, please let me know. We've also got a paddock for emergency accomodation of livestock if it's needed.

Glad to hear the Holloways and Pete are okay.

Thanks for asking friends, I have had a few busy days at the office, but no personal dramas, one fella I have been researching to run a story on for Andy has lost half a dozen dodge and Inter trucks and a couple of old 30 foot strap trailers. He is ok though and his house and horses survived.

Driving around the damaged area I was suprised at the number of old buses, trucks and classic cars that had been hiddden in sheds and backyards, all now sadly at the end of their life.

Good luck to the rest of you that have yet to get to the end of these fires.
