Kenworth 1st custom built truck for Oz - 50th year

g'day swishy .. there really is an abundance of Seattle import Kenworths that can venture out to Derrimut...just getting them all together is the trick

...Rocket Rodney dropped in today and his old '68 W model is getting a kick in the guts for the day so it will be great to see the three different cabin styles of Seattle long hood conventionals parked in a line (widefronts would make that six) ...and anything up to ten S models could could find their way there if all the planets align...

...if it all came together it wouldn't surprise me to see 25 odd early ones in the same place at the same time

....fingers crossed for even half of that would be great....cheers

So correct me if I'm wrong are we looking for all Kenworth models or just imported to turn up on the day

g'day geoff .. the guts of it is the 50th anniversary of Ed Camerons fantastic efforts.... but don't forget it's a pallet day as well, so come out on a pushbike in your underpants if you want to...

...i don't think anyone is going to mind what rolls up...

Had a quick look at outside parking yesterday, The side road (Swann Drive) has NO STANDING signs all along the south side of road, but has a section only about 200 metres on the North side that looks ok for parking, otherwise on the East/City side of Fitzgerald Road is a gravel shoulder that could be used.

Unless someone has some official looking covers we could put over the no standing signs.

Old inter kicked back into life a couple of days ago and is rumbling along really good now just to finish everything else. Its a bit quite with the new muffler might have to fix that.
