Maybe 12 months, they were working on the bridge and the surface was bare boards on the NSW end

Two more which I would have got. The giveaway for Cobram was the fence; the bridge was retained for pedestrians & cyclists when the new one was built.
Tocumwal had an interesting history. It was built as a road bridge, then was strengthened 10-20 years later bring Victorian railway into Tocumwal.
Then it became rail only when the new road bridge was built.
The span was raised for the centenary of the bridge (~1994?), and three paddlesteamers which had come from Echuca for the event posed under it.
