I'm not so sure, Swishy!!!
I reckon the windscreen & A pillar are completely different!!
Also think the grill/radiator surround is different too!!
But at least you took WAG

Thanks for the good start, even if the case is not necessarily proven yet.
This was a breakdown truck and so had to be able to tow a failed tram, 18 t tare.

Location of steering wheel attendant obversvely from the good old US of A cabin appears to be of the power wagon version front gaurds are off Cams Mack so my guess is a BITZA

re mystery truck - doors are very similiar to eh mack - but the windshield is wrong and the opening lower plus the roof is to rounded to be a eh cab -grill could be slightly modifide mack????? - front hubs and wheels are correct for mack but were common in that era

I reckon it's an EH Mack, they used to put any old cabs on the things because they were origonally rag tops. I've seen pictures of various Macks with Richards Cabs (KB Inter) and even D series Ford cabs bunged on them.

Cab is similar to the dodge cab that swishy put up but the door on the myst truck has a raised line on the door and cowl and a vent on side of cowl . But does scream mack .
