I'm going to say that the Cat of Melonreo's is a Diesel Forty .. and that the tractor of Ianoz's is a David Brown 50TD.


How i wish it was Ron , but its not :'( . Melon is close to the money , as is Werks , but going on what the current owner tells me , neither have the exact right model .

Hi Werks , 25 is a new one on me . There was a Vak on tracks ,A DB4 ,which was a copy of the Cat D4 made during the second world war , Then the ones we are trying to nut out here ;). There was also a 40 TD ,30 TDI and 50 TDI , and a couple of trackloader models . There were also some models that were Mark 2

my uncle had a 25 tractor and a 25TD just like the photo but with a canopy. I cant do photos at the moment but i do have one of it

Well Thats interesting as there is no mention of a 25TD on the David Brown site .
But there is no mention of the trackloaders either , but i know they were made .

Yes, a rare find indeed. Only 1971 Diesel Fortys were built in total, in 1934 and 1935.
