KennyMopar,

Well, I'll be buggered - you're right!
I have AtkiPete's ACCO book with me and I looked up the AB Series... models are:
AB110, AB120, AB120 4WD, AB130, AB148, AB150, AB160, AB160 4WD, AB161, AB162, AB164, AB182, ABT182 6x2 and AB184
with engines:
AGD240, AGD264, AGD282 and V345 (petrol), Perkins 6-354 and Cummins C160 (diesel)

So the AB180 series had the V345 petrol or the Cummins C160 diesel in them!

As far as I know there were three factory versions the AB182, the ABT182 (with factory lazy axle) and the AB184,. Engines were the 6-282, the V345, the Perkins 6-354 and the C160 Cummins. Four or five speed box and 2 speed diff. Perkins would be my first choice.

Pete,

I do agree with you on the Perkins - got some photos of a AB180 Inter on it's way to ya! Will email it to you!
