My wife was going through her mother's photos and found this. Her great uncle Albert Calcino of Charleville (Calcino Motors, Calcino's Hotel) with his Chevrolet motor home. My mother-in-law aged 13, with the hat on inside the door. Love the bow tie just to give the overalls a touch of class.
Plenty of campervans built on cars of the period but was this Australia's first full size motor home? Truck looks brand new.
