I think.... This may have originally been one of the 2 Turner Tsprt "Comet Express" Slimline rigids... I know one went to Norgate Tspt... Whole the other stayed at Turner's... Both were rebuilt as sleeper cabbed semis after they both crashed
You might Laugh at me because I'm different, I laugh at you because you're all the same

Greetings. The photos come out pretty good I reckon for a camera phone. I experimented with a photo scan app but I figured the colour was better using the phone. The 4070 belonged to a L N & N Hayne- Nifty wrote the name on the back of the print but his hand writing is a bit crook so I may have gotten the surname wrong. No name on the Kenworth. Plenty more to come. There were no names on the Autocar photos- maybe someone will remember who they belonged to. Next time.

There is a small name above Sydney on the blue KW & it is an early model with pull down door handles short grab rail no Kw badge above the radiator.

With the picture of the mighty UD, I thought it was a bit of poetic license on the door saying "Express Brisbane to Darwin" then I noticed the twin stacks. GM perhaps?
