Nice to see an ACCO on display, for what was a commonish truck for the 60s into the 70's there are not a lot on show, I guess I have a bit of a radar for them, as I spot quite a few parked behind sheds or under a tree on farms still.

Thanks for the ACCO, it's a remarkable range of age and style we gather at Yarra Glen..... it might make 2021 a very big year ( if 2020 is cancelled)

a decision about Yarra Glen is due in the next fortnight.
My personal opinion is it will be a brave person that goes ahead at the moment. My suspicion is it will be cancelled for the following reasons:
1) the number of cases in Melbourne and surrounds don't seem to be under control (and my gut feel is the current lockdown will be extended)
2) a lot of support for the event comes from interstate. It may not be possible for members from SA and NSW who normally bring vehicles to attend
3) to comply with covid-19 gathering rules outdoor gatherings of more than 500 people are needed to make it viable (300+ people associated with exhibits then add vendors and public to pay the bills.
I was on the Echuca Swap Meet committee and we had to decide not to go ahead when the restrictions of gatherings was 500 people, then a week later the lock down happened and we couldn't go ahead anyway.
Note these are my opinions and not anything official. if I hear anything official it will be properly announced

I have my shoulder to the wheel,
my nose to the grindstone,
I've put my best foot forward,
I've put my back into it,
I'm gritting my teeth,
Now I find I can't do any work in this position!

Blowing my own trumpet because no one else has.
My 1927 Morris Commercial D Type Six Wheeler at Yarra Glen. I seem to have lost my better pictures of it but I know that Swishy has some.
Since then it was damaged in a shed fire and I have not been keen to fix it since.
