the cabover peterbilt is a wonderful survivor with a solid history going from australian fertilizers limited (AFL) through to jock campbell's deacon avenue cartage in richmond adelaide, to barry lewis' scotta's tpt , and as far as i know remained in south aussies hands till only very recently down at maitland, and was present at the lancefield truck show last weekend (ch/no 19186)
sorry i can't help with the rest....we'll have to locate a few more boffins to tidy up the other ones details

Doubtful you'd be able to buy a '69 Autocar with 20-odd thousand miles on it in 1968.
One other thing I noticed...
The B model on the far lower left is advertised with a 19 speed gearbox?
Probably gunna be corrected but I've never heard of one...

Only thing is , the B model directly above has a 20 speed.
You would think ( hope ) that perhaps there was one bloke setting out the original ad.
You might also assume he /she knew about their product?
Effectively the same box , just different wording?

For those that did attend The ATHS show at Lancefield this past weekend...
Here is a picture of the aforementioned truck..
Robbie Green had some of his Peterbilt collection on display...
Included in his collection was his daily worker, a 1966 351ST Peterbilt..(pictured at the bottom of this post)
I wonder how many of the 'advertised' trucks are still in existance or even better still,.. working for that matter?
chocs
And some more Petes....
