hey guys/macfie's golburn v12 71.throw at me what you got on it.serial #?got an engine.want to build a replica.does the truck survive in some form?im dead serious.its a very significant vehicle to all fans of the bayswater brand.

g'day 352 .. the paddle handled 12V71 MacFie banger survives (albeit with an 8V92 fitted).
when i last saw it over at western highway truck sales (vic) quite a few years ago it still with the original cab and tags, and gantry setup on the fairly original chassis..
they may be able to help you track it down from there....cheers

I just spoke to Andrew from Western Hwy Trucks and he does remember that truck. It was a ex Macfees. It had dual range Eatons and torsion bars still in it. It was white and burgandy hooked up to a semi tipper. The bloke who bought it came from S.A.

a V6-71 = 238 HP so the V12-71 should B 476 HP

Would depend on the injectors.I think some of the Aussie ones fitted in Kenworths were 404 HP....

it states in swishys' text...12V71 NE...375 BHP and 1100 lb/ft of torque
