From memory Bill Peck from the Blacktown NSW area had a dark green Autocar with a Straight 6 GM with a low loader about 20 years ago. Very smart looking unit especially the sound from the 671, always sounded better than the V671.

Billy Pecks Autocar actually was an 871 than at a latter date he put a 892 in the old girl. Also changed the colour from i think from memory red with white stripes to the colour dark green regards kw10

Yes and there was also the ex Tanami Taxi (Cow Carter)(Leon Todd's Autocar) bought by Ivan OKeefe (Kingswood, NSW.) Also on Heavy Haulage. (Billy Peck lived out Berkshire Park way not Blacktown, moved further west now) Ivan's Autocar started off in the Tanami Transport colours and was later painted Men from Marrs Red. Had the 892TTA in it.... straight thru exhaust and did that thing Roar.
