Reckon we might need a secret facebook group soon for all the chassis numbers collectors so we can poke fun at blokes who only have trucks.

Welcome any info or pictures of 60s Australian AEC Mustangs (Leyland Comet lookalikes)

Another little bit of jigsaw......
The truck to the left of the TNT looks like it was destined for Norgate,T'ville.
The light blue one would have been for Cootamundra Transport.
The S2 looks like one of three (with Alisons) for the NT Power & Water Auth. as
it was then,as pole erector/driller trucks.
At least one of these S2s is still around the Territory with M&G Electrical.Although it may now have a manual transmission.
With chassis No.403973 it would date the pic early 1979.
I had C/n 403963 (350 W model) new to Buntine (&me).

G'day boys,
Peters104 has some beauties in his collection that haven't been posted yet (and their chassis numbers )
So I'm hoping this email will be enough of a push to get them up loaded.
Oh and nobody mention GM's around him ...he converted me....now all I can think about is screaming noise.....
