What happens to links from Search engines and other sites?

Hi,
Initially anyone coming in from a link referring to the old Forum will get dropped on the Index page of this Forum and they will have to do their own searching to find the article they expected.
Once things have settled down, I will look at ways to get links from other sites to point to the correct articles, while over time Search engines will update themselves with details of where the article resides on the new Forum.
