Hi,
if you are receiving too many emails notifying you of an update or new topic of post you can go into your Profile, the tab at the top of each page, and select Subscriptions . Tick the boxes on the right and then select Choose Action and you can unsubscribe yourself from the ones you don't want to get emails about
You can also edit your profile and in the Forum Settings tab select whethe you want to be subscribed automatically or not to post you create or reply to.
