Did here they came up with an adapter to convert camelback suspension to air ride on the camel back
coz the troops in the back were getn kidney damage from the ruff ride

At the time when the first Macks were delivered to the Army, they said that they were too rough for the soldiers and their delicate Cargos that they carried, including Ammo etc. When they did the changeover to the Airbags, Mack took back the complete Camel back suspensions and they were advertised for sale at the time. Apparently quit a lot of them went overseas in a single Lot. - Kav

Well,there you go,youre stuck with the Neway that grounds in a dirt driveway,let alone going bush.A local grease trap emptier has one and wasnt real happy with the poor steering lock.
