Dort trucks

A HCVC club member rang me asked if i heard of DORT truck yes I belive they made cars but has anyone heard of a DORT truck. Dave

This bloke Joshia Dallas Dort start making wagons in 1880 and was selling them for $8-00 us, after this he became partners with Durrant (who start of Chev)the Dort Motor Company ran from 1915 -1925 and they made cars that could have cut down into 10cwt tray trucks any other info would be great . Hello Dave, In WA and South Aust Dort cars were used as rail inspection vehicles and ran on the rails. A SA one now has some other make of running gear and is being restored. David.
