Good find Jarrod. It would be a rare engine in this country I'd think.

Today was a walk about pic. Went for a 7 klm walk around Hart Lagoon, Waikerie. SA n stumbled onto this. A true FORD full of rust deposits. Low mileage since last parked. Engine is near complete, no gearbox, front or rear ends. Sorry tailgate is missing pressumed consumed by rust.

First full day of looking about so drove to Red Cliff to see Big Lizzie.
What a machine, 60hp Blackstone hot bulb engine powered this 80 ton loaded giant at 2 mph in top gear. The design of the track laying is amazing using 3 heavy wire cables on steel rims. Had its own blacksmith shop up front, large fuel tanks front n rear on the prime move n both trailers. Trailer were steerable n had a crane on the prime mover.

I have my shoulder to the wheel,
my nose to the grindstone,
I've put my best foot forward,
I've put my back into it,
I'm gritting my teeth,
Now I find I can't do any work in this position!

Just think, Cobbadog, if you had something like that, you could build a little house on it, or on one of the trailers for you and Cobbarette to live in and you could restore your stationary engines and lawn mowers on the front deck, all whilst touring the country and seeing the sights.

Knowing you, Cobbadog, you would probably turbocharge it and race across the country at THREE miles per hour!
