They are great photos and obviously I love the Commers with the pusher axles. Guisseppe and his new AEC is a pearler as well
My old man is part of Probus and was telling me the other night about a fella he met there recently who would like to see my Knocker. He then went on to tell me that the guy had driven for LOD for years, this was the same day that I first saw your scanned collection. I'll get his name if you'd like, might know him

More great ol pics Old Dog, My father started his truck driving career in Balmain around 1945. He will no doubt make some comments to me when he see's this thread.

Certainly am, transport history is one of me favourite topics n interests.I have over a thousand photos of all kind of trucks from way back when. It's going to take me for ever to scan them.May be not in chronological order but a lot of old History of transport from our company if you people are interested.........
