Hi all, new to the forum so go easy on me
i am looking to 3d design and print off a 1:24 Atkinson 3800 but need the basic dimensions of the cab if possible. i have an old resin cab that i have taken measurements from which is in 1:25 scale but unsure if the original producers got the measurements correct. any help would be greatly received

Welcome, I'm of no help here, I would be thinking of a brochure from when the trucks were new would be the go
There is a Australian Atkinson Facebook page that's fairly friendly that might have some help

I have my shoulder to the wheel,
my nose to the grindstone,
I've put my best foot forward,
I've put my back into it,
I'm gritting my teeth,
Now I find I can't do any work in this position!

Hello Modeller,
Welcome to the forum. I'm with Paul in that I cannot help you but hopefully some here can.
1:24 scale is too small for me, with my stiff back and encroaching old age, I have trouble getting into 1:1 size trucks and have great trouble getting into many cars. (Ha ha)
A brochure is a good idea, many of them have detailed measurements.

Do a search on here for Overlander’s Atkinson Brochures.
Posted more than a year back.
Some diagrams with dimensions.
Perhaps a more capable member might put up the link to
these posts for you. Good luck, Paul.

Overlander may have access to a better view of his brochures.

Hi Modeller. I have just found an early Mk3 brochure here with some basic cab dimensions on it, for both slimline and full cab.
If you want to PM your email address to me, i will scan and email the brochure to you.
Brett.
