Where did the word 'Pomgolian' come from ?

Jeez I failed woodwork at school.
It's great to see someone with such talent create these fine examples.
I especially like old Waltzing Matilda's little 903.
Just awesome!! 8-)

Note : I just found out Matilda had a 3208.
Always thought she had a 903.
